We chose this breed for 3 reasons

  • Hardiness
  • Eating quality
  • And it's known as the orchard pig quite fitting for an Apple farmer.

Their diet contains low protein pig nuts as well as waist farm veg which varies with the seasons from cauliflower to pumpkins and apples.

Amazing as always

I like to fill my freezer and do a big order, but I have had the pin wheels, pork spare ribs and some potatoes. Absolutely delicious! And the steak and ale pie was the best I’ve ever had. The pastry was as good as the meat and the flavour and the textures were ideal. As well as the meat to pastry ratio. This is why I keep ordering over and over and over.

These were so fresh and wrapped up tight that I had plenty of time to decide how to cook them. Roasted and coated in sauce, the ribs still sung through porky and delicious ! Highly impressed and recommend.
